I get the feeling that the springs on the front and rear of my bronco are too soft to have good street manners. I can’t seem to get this thing to drive down the road without constant wandering.
I have 5-1/2” lift with rock crawler coils and wh 11 leaf springs and all4fun long arms .
Anyone else have this problem???

Could be any number of things. Worn out bushings, etc.

I’d start w the simplest, air pressure in tires.

Running bFG mid terrains. Too much pressure and it’s all o er the place.

Track bar bushings would b my next check.

Lots of info on here to chase it down.

Good luck. You’ll get it dialed in.

5½" of lift is nearly impossible to get a good caster angle without a cut/turn of the outer Cs on the front axle. It would be nice to know what the current alignment numbers are. That is pretty much a must at this point.

Did you do the frame off? Did you buy it already done? Did you have a shop do the rebuild?

Are you running sway bar(s)?

That's the quick basics. And a rabbit hole of additional possibilitys. Really no idea what parts were used (or not replaced) during the frame off.

I'd guess the problems are what others have mentioned - I've never found the WH Rockcrawler springs to be too soft.

Questions? Is it 5 1/2 suspension or a suspension body lift combination.
? Do you plan to rock your Bronco? If not, I would consider less suspension lift. Going down to a 2.5 - 3.5 suspension lift. And if it's going to be street driven most of the time. Adding sway bars is also an option. My build consists of the Duck Tuff 2.5 suspension and 1.5 body lift. I installed the lift a few months before starting the frame off restoration. So I have a few months of driving experience with the set up. It was big improvement over the stock suspension. Even with the original ball joints and steering box with 95k on them. The Duck Tuff kit, as an option. Includes front and rear sway bar. I did not install them at the time of the suspension lift install. But even with the 2.5 lift. I did not notice any excess body roll. I think the Eibach shocks had something to do with that. The sway bars are going on as part of the restoration. So far I really like the set up.

Is it wandering or body roll? Wandering is probably alignment or one of the other problems mentioned. It's pretty common to get more body roll with the extended arms especially if you're running inboard rear shock mounts. If it's body roll try adding sway bars.

looks like you have extended radius arms so that'll help with caster a little. we need more specs to be able to really provide you with some insight.

a good place to be with caster is 4-6* with that much lift.

from the pics, it's a bit blurry, but your track bar and tie rod angles look off. do you have bumpsteer?

nice looking bronco!
