It was time to get rid of uneccessary body paneling. so heres what we did.

I'm thinking of doing this to mine also. When you cut the rockers does any supporting need to be added to the rockers? Or do the rock guards just to go up underneath? Also does cutting the rockers weaken the existing sills?

it's probably not good for anything, but mine were beyond repair, and i had already replaced them once before. i wasn't going to replace them again only to beat them up again.

I built my rocker gaurds to bolt to the frame and sit just below the sheet metal. They are in no way connected to the body.

I went ahead and completely welded up the seals to help strengthen everything.
