Depending if you're building the bronco for off road you could just cover the rockers with 1/4" rock skis.

Hi Tim
Thanks for your response. Any chance you can let me know where to get started. I have the rocker panels in one piece and I will take them apart but if you could tell me how to take the bottom piece off that would be great !
Thanks
Just got home from a deer hunt.

To remove the old rocker you have to drill out 30 plus spot welds. To attach I drilled the rocker with holes and plug welded them in.

I'll try and dig up some pics

So found my old pics......Like most projects on my Bronco....once I opened things up I fond MORE rust issues and the job got bigger than planed.

Got a bit carried away with the spot welder.....It was my first time and didn't know what I really doing

I used the Harbor Freight spot weld cutter......Use a punch to center the weld you want to cut.....go slow and try not to cut through like I did in several places. Side #2 went much easier. Felt like a pro after learning all the "don't do's" on side #1 LOL

If you don't need to replace the inner rocker you can get just the outers and save yourself some time not cutting the new ones apart.
