What kind of tape would you recommend to wrap roll cage padding? I got some universal padding from speedway motors and don't really want to use shiny black duct tape to wrap it. I want something semigloss or flat black that isnt going to peel up. Thanks

Black fabric wrap with a linear velcro closure?
That is how I did mine and it works nice. Looks uniform and I can pull it off and put back on real quick. Velcro on the top so you don't see it.

^^^^like he said. Back in the day we just used electrical tape. No tape ages well especially if you run topless. Wh had em for sale. Not sure if they still sell em.

Head Bangers from WH. Great quality and look awesome. Higher cost, but worth it in my opinion.

For a different flavor... I ended up buying a pair of 36" surf board pads in 2012 that said "Hanalei Surf Company" while we were in Hawaii - they fit my front roll cage diameter perfectly and gives the rig a tropical flare. Went back in 2023 and bought two more 30" pads with the same logo for the rear of the roll cage. Shoulda bought a few more... dont know when we're going back again.
