the http://autocolorlibrary.com/ website has a scan of the paint chips.
however there's likely some slight inaccuracy going from a little paint chip
scanned into computer and viewed on your monitor. but it should give a
reasonable indication of the colors.
my truck is factory ford 1966 candyapple red original color. hope this helps. the color chips show candyapple as this darker maroon like color and they are wrong.
I believe you, I remember seeing a couple of Mustangs that color.

I thought you meant it was an original candyapple red '66, not repainted.
sorry for the confusion. I just did arepaint last spring. My truck is 71 and I had a picture taken with one of those special paint camera's that determined the color and it was ford candyapple red. That made that color for a ton of years I just choose 1966. The color is great very true red. I will try to post a picture of it out of the sun its darker red then.
