I am trying to add a Saginaw power steering pump to my Bronco. I am using a stock ford bronco steering box. I have two Saginaw power steering pumps. One is from a 83 ford van and is 16mm o ring fitting at the pump and is 5/16 inverted flair at the box end if that helps anyone. . The other pump I have know idea from what. I paid I think a dollar for it at an auction. I don't know what kind of fitting the pump takes or if it is metric or standard ect. I am having trouble finding a hose to hook to the for van pump and the bronco box. I ordered a fitting to cut and re-flair the van hose but it is a 5/16 line and not 3/8 that the fitting line size is.(only 7/16 fitting I can find) There is nothing wrong with the van pump or hose and kind of hate to have to buy a new one for a fitting/hose. Does anyone know if I can switch just the port fitting on the back of the pump with one that I can adapt to something and were to get one if possible? If not anyone know a part number or application for a pump and hose to put into the bronco? Or I am open to adapting the 5/16 to 7/16 if anyone knows a part number or where to find a fitting. Thanks

Are you converting from the stock EB steering pump - meaning the pressure line you were using has the female threads at the pump side?

If so, you need the adapter fitting to convert the saginaw pump to the male threads to use with your existing stock hose.

If using the van pump, you need the fitting above as well as the o-ring to inverted flare adapter.
