I've done some searching around and haven't found anything really comprehensive about 2nd hand seat options. I run PRP suspension seats in one of my rigs and they're quite comfortable. I have always figured I'd just buy new seats for my Bronco build but lately I've been thinking going with 2nd hand seats. Something sporty but comfortable and without a huge booster. I figure if I get lucky I might not even have to reupholster them. One thing I'm concerned about is having non operable features that some newer seats might have. Another one is air bags, although I think they can be removed. Don't want any logos on the seats either.
what seats should I be looking at. Not interested in bench seats. I'm quite capable of making my own rails, adaptors, etc. Thanks!

I don't remember exactly what model year was used, but I think some member have used the seats from a Ford Ranger.

I've got them, and like them. Early 2000's extended cab. The passenger slides forward, and you get a console/middle seat for the front, they're a 60/40 split. Gotta make your own brackets, otherwise they are too high.

Convertible Mustang seats, maybe 90's ? None elec, used the Mustang OEM sliders after a little hammer flattening action. Yes that is tread plate decking going from one side to the other. And then down to the rocker and that gave me a flat place to mount the passenger seat AND gave me a storage area under it. Still need to make a door for it. Ford Ranger arm rest using the OEM mount bracket that mounts behind the ammo can center console.

I've put 2 sets of 1st 1986 BroncoII seats & 2nd 1987 BroncoII . I like them BOTH FIT EASILY ...
1ST SET HAD BEEN in a pretty good wreck & THE BACK BROKE so I just gathered up another set. & Put in the 1987's.
