Does anyone know the PN for the PCV that fits these Scott Drake Valve covers? Or should i just stay away from these covers? 😆

I currently have Edelbrock Elite II valve covers. They use the twist style caps and i can't for the life of me get a response from Edelbrock on converting this to a push style. I actually like the Elite covers... just want to clean up my breather/PCV setup and options are limited with twist styles.

I think I just used the OE one from rock auto for an EB.

I didn't have any luck with these on a 306 crate motor, the PCV baffle design is terrible and would blow oil out of them constantly. Got a set of these instead and they're awesome, much better baffle design:

Did those come with the fastener bolts? I assume you put these on a roller rocker 306 from Blueprint? The stock ones thst came with my BP 306 are already leaking.

Yes- the Ford motorsports ones come with the needed hardware, and yeah, they were on a headache of a 306 blueprint that is now a 347.

To answer your first question Shimmy, just buy the PCV valve that is rated for your engine. Or equivalent…
Those look like they have the factory style opening, and probably even come with the rubber grommet. I don't remember ever hearing of an issue fitting a stock valve with this style cover.
The PCV valve they show in the picture is the same type/design as factory, but with the 90° elbow on it that you find in different applications.

But listen to the voice of experience with badandy’s comments about baffling. Few things more annoying than spending good money and finding out that the design is less than optimal.
I think we’ve had feedback along both sides of that fence. Some have excess oil pickup via the valve, some don’t.
I wonder if it’s a high-performance engine vs low-performance engine kind of thing?
We’ve sold dozens, if not hundreds of similar covers. Many (maybe even most?) don’t have that problem.

Might be yet another one of those things to compile more data on.

Thanks Paul! Yah, i ended up getting the Ford Performance slant covers. With all the black friday sales going, I splurged a little.
