Bronco Gurus,

Getting ready to reassemble my 9 inch. What should I use to seal the studs on the housing to prevent the gear oil from seeping out?

I have only used a standard gasket and the little copper washers under the mounting nuts they never leaked.

I do the same as above, with a "Light", very thin, amount of the Right stuff silicon sealer. People always seem to overdo it with sealer...

Thanks everyone. Trying to source the copper washers.
FWIW, 3/8" or 10mm copper crush washers will work interchangeably, so I just used the 10mm crush washers on mine since that's what I had on hand. While maybe not marketed/packaged for the 9", most auto parts stores should have crush washers in bulk. If you don't have anything local, there are lots of options online as well.
