Sealing hard top posts with great stuff

Any tricks before I make a big mess trying to use great stuff to seal the posts up below the taillights? ;D

Agreed .. do not use ! That crap holds water & will make a rusty mess eventually . I had a Bronco where the PO filled the rear hardtop corner panel & it rusted thru the outside .

ok What should he use.. One of the 3M SEAM SEALERS.. NUMBER I remember is 08606.
& LATER 3M came out with another number.

The key is to be careful where you put it. You want it to keep water out, not hold water in.

Great Stuff is a bad idea where water will get to it and water gets in every crack and crevice on an early Bronco.

Gotcha so sounds like it’s a bad idea all the way around 3M would work. I have read this is a way to keep fumes out of the cab.
