I’m new to the bronco scene, just picked up a 1967 U 15. I would like to know what you guys recommend as far as a shop manual. And where the best place to get one would be. I’m old school and want paper pages to read and make notes. Thanks in advance

The most in depth is a set of factory Ford shop manuals. You can find sets on ebay pretty regularly.

There are also the typical Haynes and Chiltons manuals that the Auto Parts stores sell. Not as in depth as the Ford factory set, but a decent resource.

Ditto what he said.
But for the store-bought type, I prefer the older Hayne's with the Brown cover (not the blue one) because it has better wiring diagrams and (I think anyway) more details and a better layout.

Some here have said they prefer the Chilton's that covers all year Broncos from '66 to '96, but I liked the older '66 to '77 version myself. Less clutter because none of the full-size stuff. But the others that do like them have said they have some extra info the old ones don't have.

I have factory books for some other trucks, but have used the older Hayne's and Chilton's together to good effect over the years.

E-bay, craigslist, Amazon, and Helm online are good places to look.

I'm a big proponent of original Ford shop manuals as can be seen from some of mine here.

I also have Haynes and Chilton manuals but the Ford manuals are the ones I almost always use.

I'm old-school as well and can't stand using minnows on CDs. I bought a CD for an M151 I'm working on for a guy and after one night of using that I ordered the complete set of paper manuals.

You can take the CD to like UPS store and they will print it, spiral binder etc all kinds of options to choose from

I bought my 66 shop manual from JBG then proceeded to dismantle it page by page and put into doc protectors, combined it with my preliminary shop manual. Easy to use in the shop and pages won't get jacked up with dirty fingerprints ;D
