I'm ready to do the long awaited stereo...I've got 2 12" Kicker subs, a big honkin Kicker amp and I'm kinda stumped on front speakers. I'm thinking about using a Jeep soundbar for the roll bar(just had the rear section finished) - I'm open to suggestions!!!!

I would like to see some pics on what you creative bast@rds might have come up with.

Thanks,
Mike

The roll bar speaker's are mounted to a 1" piece of oak lumber that I routed the edges, sanded, and painted black. My roll bar is an after market 2 piece design, so it was easy to hide the wiring inside, and mount the board using the existing holes in the roll bar.

small sealed box in the rear with one sub firing down and one firing into the tailgate, try to make it JUST as high as the tailgate so someone who looks into the rear can't tell what it is til you drop the gate.

put the amp under the rear seat. This also allows you to run all wires under the truck so it's easy to hide (especially if you have a simple lined interior with no carpet, etc)

I also built a larger windshield motor cover that went all the way across the windsheield. It now contains a 5.25" component set and crossover.

PM me if you want some pics...

Thats pretty cool, wonder if the speakers have a standard size, so as to replace with other speakers as needed.

Go to the following website and find the Offroad Speakers. They are 200wat 6-8 inch speakers incased in a stainless offroad light housing and mount just like offroad lights so you can put them anywhere. Very Cool, check them out and post a pic if you know how.

www.everythingoffroad.com

Those are cool - I could probably make something like that, considering I have more off road lights than I know what to do with.... I considered wakeboard speakers but they are too big......and Randy you know what they say about the cobblers kids needing shoes right!!!

Keep them comming - they are all awesome!! BTW how are the speakers in the kick panels to do - as far as the room and road crap??? And what about the doors??

Thanks!!!!
