Vernon is where I'm from, around Anacoco. Uncle Sam has me over here in Abilene TX. Do make it home pretty regular especially during hunting season Nothing like hunting the piney woods and thick creek bottoms

Too bad quail season is over in Abilene. There are a few out there some where. Dove hunting wasn't bad next to the state pen. They got rattle snakes out there also. (they taste like chicken) of that is what I was told. LOL. Ck out J allens steak house. And i think the seafood place in the middle of Abilene is closed but they had some dang good frog legs. (they taste better than chicken)
