You should have some pretty good spots off I-90. Bit far for me, although I do want to get down there sometime. I think Tinkham is popular.

Jacks Pass is pretty cool if there is some fresh snow. If the snow level is low enough there are some good places out the Mountain Loop. We generally try to avoid the crowds, but weekdays shouldn't be bad anywhere.

Jacks Pass and Tonga ridge are off Highway 2. Martin Creek was one of my favorites, but it was closed down for private use

I haven't been down there in a couple years, so I don't know about gates that may be closed.

Looks like the Weather is shaping up!

For the Wednesday run, we'll be meeting up in Monroe. Suggested meeting spots are welcome. Thinking 9am or so? Sound good?

Wednesday run, meet at Safeway in Monroe at 9am.

I'm still trying to find out if Jacks Pass is open. Or we can just say screw it and cruise up to Tonga.

Are both of those places logging or FS roads? I need to know if I should take my soft top off or not as I don't want to damage it.

I have my soft top on. We generally stay on the roads. Occassionally there are branches and what not hanging down from the weight of the snow. Either the first rig bumps them clear, or we can cut them if needed.

Jacks Pass has a big open play area that's a lot of fun. I'm just not sure about gates being closed since I haven't been down there in a couple years.

The worst part about running the soft top is the gunk that gathers on the windows. I just try to gently hit them with pressure washer.

Sounds good, I will leave the top on. I will also bring an inner tube so we can have some fun if we hit those open areas.

Not sure if I can make it... Have a couple projects going right now. IF I CAN, I would at least trailer down to Monroe, and depending on what time I can get in on the EB, I would almost rather trailer to where we are going. Long of the short, dont know how fast the eb will travel with new wheels and tires. (Beadlocks non balanced) I havent had it past 40 mph yet. Also, I have my spare tank out right now, and dont know if I'll get it back in by then. So i dont know what my range is with stock rear tank and the 408...
