Somewhat roughed in, but it gives an idea. I haven't decided how tall I want it. Still need to decide how I want to trim the back.

Looking good I'd say slant the back to give it more of a factory ford look but that's just me the front has the look of a Shelby hood scoop just higher and not as long

Yeah but it just depends do you want to slant it and not angle the back or just give the whole thing a slant back.

Just for clearance or will it be open in the rear for cowl induction?

Didn't the Mach 1 mustangs have a back side with turn signals? Maybe larger scale? The front looks the part already.

Yes the Mach 1's did but they didn't have the center bar. The Shelby style I referred to looks like this.

I like how you're matching the footprint of the scoop to the stock hood bump. Should look nice when done.

Nice catch! All of the scoops look out of place being a universal fits all design or a modified mustang scoop. This follows along the hood body line and, IMO, looks like it belongs to it.

I grew up in a body shop, and been a tech for 30+ years. Since I do both paint and mud, I've been on both side of "rough".... :)

I have an oem hood that was cut for a hood scoop. Wish I could trade it to someone who intends to use a hood scoop and get an uncut hood.

Looks cool. Good luck on the molding!
