Well the transformation on the 74 has begun. I have disassembled both axles as of now and will be sandblasting them on Saturday. Within the next 3 months I will add the f/r arbs, 4.88's, front warn axles, yukon rear axles, ctms--I already have all this stuff sitting in my garage but I've decided it's a good to do front disk swap, Por-15 the frame, axles (maybe), and a 2" body lift and some kind of suspension lift. I did not realize how bad off my springs, shocks, coils and all the bushings really were.

No, they are some cheapo chrome steel wheels that the previous owner had on there. They will be making a exit along with the BFG's to make room for the beadlocks and 37" Boggers.

I wish you could see it now--pretty nasty. It will be due for a good scrubbing by Sunday.

While you are putting on all of the goodies I would suggest beefing up your cage quite a bit. If you are gonna be doing stuff that can break warns and ctms you are definetely gonna want better cage.

I will be ripping out that pos soon enough---I can only do what money allows at the time. I'll have to save up a little while for a custom cage--or I might just save up and buy a bender so I can do my own cage.
