Starting a motor on a rolling chassis

did not fill the fuel bowl, where would i run the wire from the + terminal on the battery to which point on the coil??

Run it to the + on the coil. Same as BAT on coil.

I wouldn't run any engine for a second without water. Now, running without a radiator or water pump turning, you can for a few minutes, but you need water in the jackets or you'll start doing some really bad things very quickly.

It has the inner core still connected to the frame with radiator hooked up.

I once had a 460half running on the floor when my buddy goosed it thinking it would flood it..then die..the thing ran on and on and on....we had to cover the carb to kill it....with it bouncing around....I will never ever be that stupid ..or

call me crazy if I didn't read the whole thread, but I would just take a portable heater put it under your oil pan for an extended period if you want to heat the oil, hook up a battery and charger to your starter and ground turn the starter over for 20 seconds at a time, that should pump plenty of oil and coolant through the system...right?
