Steel side tank drawings

Some years ago when restoring our 68 we installed a steel side tank sourced from WH. Apparently no one makes them anymore.
We never hooked it up as we went Fitech and couldn’t figure out how to plumb it.
However, I am on a mission to get this done.
Planning on using a 6 position dual tank switch. Just try to figure out outlet and return lines, fuel line material and a pump.
Any ideas would be extremely appreciated.
Thanks, Mark

What kind of fuel pump set up are you using now? Or at least planning to use? What kind of rear tank do you have?

Hi Paul, I have the WH 23 gal steel tank with Aeromotive pump and Holley fuel mat.
Lars is going to help me out with schematic and parts list. He’s got a similar setup on his Bronco.
Nice to have smart friends!!!

Similar to the route I took.
I put a small frame mounted pump to transfer the auxilary fuel to the main tank so I could use the HP pump to feed my FiTech.
I put a pressure cut off switch in it so I have a pressure override (momentary) switch plus a switch for the frame pump. Prime the system with both switches, then let it run itself out. When the pressure finally drops, the pump is switched off.
Not the best pictures, but I also needed to mount my pump and Diff switch so I printed the box to fit under the dash at hands length away.

Thanks, that sounds like the most simple solution. And the one I’d use if I were to keep the Bronco. However, it may go on the market before too long.
The 6 port electronic switch is closest to a factory setup. A lot more work though.

Where did you source the pressure cutoff switch?
