Stiff clutch after ZF install, hydraulic hose keeps blowing off SC

The slave is new. It is a power torque brand from O'Reillys.

I guess I will have another hose cut with an end to plug directly into the slaves and secure it with a roll pin. I am struggling to grasp the concept that this problem is unique to me.

I tell you what, I'm getting good at taking the ZF out. Is there a merit badge for that?

I'm using the BC hose as ordered at the slave and the master. I think I saw it on a few other websites and adapter from ford fitting to AN. Like art said The BC hose was simple make sure seal is on hose push all the way in then gently tap in roll pin from slave or master.

So far no issues on mine with BC hose abd LUK slave

The BC hose has the same fittings on both ends, right? Probably.

Their hose is $50+shipping and tax. I can have the same hose cut for $65 while I wait and not gamble that I'm going to get proper phuqued like I have the last two times I spent $800 plus with them. I initially wanted to spend more, but they didn't have the parts in stock. That's not a replay I want to revisit. They don't get another dollar from me. My gripes can be searched, no need to clutter this thread.

Sorry to hear that. Wasn't trying to force u there but only bronco vendor I know of with that item.

Here is an option i looked at prior to buying the hose. Would let you use a braided AN hose.

Correct. Didn't mean to strike a nerve due to the vendor (sorry). Problem with that extra fitting is that most of the Fords I've seen with this setup use a hard nylon line to the slave and that's what those fingers grab. Doesn't take much to booger it up when disconnecting it. Plus, it's one more connection to leak/fail.

No need, you've had enough heartburn from that already. I just wanted to help get you back to driving without pissin' that hose out every other day!

The final solution for the clutch hose that kept popping out was to pull the female extension out of the slave cylinder and put the clutch hose directly in to that port and secure it with a barrel pin. I did have to modify the slave base at the port to get it to accept the hose (a new hose with the same fittings (same as the one that goes in to the master cylinder) on both ends). Because the depth of the female port on the slave cylinder was too deep for the hose to just plug and play, I used a large diameter step bit to enlarge the opening at the outer edge of the SC to allow the hose to get far enough in to the SC to seat properly and let the barrel pin go down.
