Still a newb... Ranger? Explorer? Sport?

I am still new to the EB world but want to learn. Whats the difference between a Ranger, Explorer etc? When did the 302 become standard? PS PB? Etc.

Give me the basics.

302 in '69, 289 from late '66-'68, 170 I6 from '66-'72, and the 200 I6 is '73 & '74 only.
Power Steering in '73 unless a '71 or '72 Baja, same with automatic transmission
Power Brakes in '76
