Can I use a stock 76-77 proportional with a Chevy disc brake conversion or is it better to buy a new one?

Thanks Jeff

If your old one is still in good shape I don’t see anything wrong with using it.
But if it’s like many, you’re better off going with a new one because the old one might be stuck or corroded and the shuttle piston that turns the light on might be stuck.

However if the old one doesn’t leak, looks workable and everything does what it’s supposed to, keep it!
I would certainly dig into it to make sure first though. Don’t want to do it all more than once. 😉
