... Hey Guys .. I pulled the motor out of my 1972 back about 3 years ago .. When I put the 4BT INto my Bronco .. I had plans of overhauling it and putting it in a 1976 Project BRONCO. But as my economy has suffered worse than I ever expected it could ..
... So My 302 is still complete carb and all. What would I need to do to install it into my old 1980 Bronco that has the 300 cid in it .. My 302 still has the flywheel on it. So the motor plus the 72 flywheel and just add a new clutch and the BELLHOUSING FROM THE 1980 300 SHOULD WORK should it not.
... The old 1980 HAS THE np435 in it.
... but I can never get a carb to work on the 300..and the 300 is wore smooth out.

You will need V8 engine towers. Yes the 300 bellhousing will work fine. Might need a V8 radiator and shroud or some crazy hose routing. probably need to adapt the power steering pump as well. I would probably get a duraspark dizzy for the 302 and you can reuse the stock igintion wiring and module thats in the 80 bronco now.

So basically V8 towers is what I need.. Do they weld in or bolt in.
... Come to think of it I have a 1986 and an 1983 that both have motors in them. So I recon I could get the towers from them .. The 83 1/2 2wheel drive has a radiator with it.
.. And my 1972 motor still has the Sag pump I was using from when it was in my Bronco .

BroncnAZ ... The ones off that 83 or 86 both will work won't they..
.... Now that 86 has a 351 I think but the 83 has a 302 for sure.

Yes they will work 302/351 same mounts. can get them off a bronco or pickup of those years probably all the way up to 96. For sure 80-86 stayed the same after that I think there was only minor differances in body parts
