Does a Dana 300 bolt up to a C4 in place of the Dana 20? If not, how difficult is the swap? I found a good deal on a Dana 300 with a 4 to 1 Terra Low set installed. I can't find much info on a Dana 300 and Bronco's.

Shouldnt be to much of a problem although I'm not sure about which side the D300 hangs down on passenger side? VS bronco drivers side. I believe they can be clocked but then you may have to come up with some funky shift linkages. as for adapters go to http://www.advanceadapters.com/newidea.html they have a c4 to 300 adapter

Also remember that the D300 Tera-low 4:1 kits are the ones know for failing. The Bronco 3.15 kits are strong.

What is the 300 out of? is the drop even on the correct side?

D300's are all passenger side drop......... but you can get a flip kit for to run it upside down, makeing it a driverside drop (popular for YJ's)

but no, the bolt patters are different
