"T" handle D20 pill removal

I had my D20 rebuilt and asked to have the pills between the shift rails left out but I don't think they listened. Now that it's installed and I'm putting in the twin shifters, any easy way to remove the pills without completely removing the D20 and disassembling? What's the potential for damage if I leave them in. I've read you can mistakenly put it into front high/rear low at the same time which isn't a big concern for me. So is it best to just leave the pills in? Should I leave the little plate that connects the rails on the outside or remove it?

T shift requires the shift rails to be modified. Taking out the pill will not do it.

Did they rebuild it with the stock shift-rails or modified replacement ones?

Stock ones. I've been researching and it looks like I'll need your kit SRD20F? I already have your shifters EB20T T4. And it says to use the 2 factory pills. Do I need anything else before I have to send it back to get the rails swapped?

Get the rails from Jon and put them in yourself. The 20 is pretty easy to do.

You only need to swap the rails if you need the option of front wheel drive only (front dig).
If not you are good to go........ If you do need that option, we would be happy to set you up with a set of rails.

Thanks Jon. I don't really need front dig. So the factory setup is fine to use with your shifters?
