t-shift twin stick stuck?

So I removed my t-case and re-sealed it with all new gaskets and seals.
While it was out since it is a Tshift I decided to remove the pills and go twin stick.
I found the PO had apparently already removed the puills at some point. So I put everything back together and installed back in the bronco and now the front shift rod is stuck in neutral. The rear seams to work fine.

Did I do something that caused this to jam up?
When I get home from work I will post a picture of the insides of the tcase to verify the pills have been taken out.

thanks for any help.

Go to the FAQ section I'm sure there's something in there that will help you. I'm planing to do the same with mine but haven't gotten that far yet. Good luck someone will chime in with the info you need there's a lot of bronco holic's here that know there stuff when it come's to these old ford's.

Did you bench test everything before putting it in the truck? Maybe something didn't go in just right. Also, you can try rolling the bronco a touch while shifting into first. If the Bronco is not mobile, you can try spinning the front driveshaft while putting in gear. Your basically just trying to line up the gears.

There is no way that the PO had removed the pills and NOT twin sticked it. A single shifter will not shift both front and rear rails properly with the pills removed.
You can leave them in and twin stick it but you can't remove them and still use the stock shifter.
