Does someone have a diagram for the taillight wiring for a 69 bronco. I just redid it, but am worried it is not correct.

Thanks.

Is this what you need?

Yes, I did mess it up. I joined the 2 browns and did not leave them going to the license plate light and thus no ground.

Darn, I have to lower the gas tank again to get to it.

Thanks.

Be advised that there are grounds at the rear buckets also. They're hard to see in the diagram.

Will that also work for a '74

The wire colors are basically the same. The differences are in the connectors and the '74 will have the side marker lights which also use the brown wire (wired in parallel to taillight bulb). Look in my gallery for '74 compatible light wiring.

VW,

I have a couple follow up questions if you do not mind;D. See the picture, both sides have the ground going to the yellow thingy. I looked at my 73 and the ground is screwed into the sheetmetal support.

Should I remove the yellow things and screw both into the sheet metal like my 73?

Second Q, I do not have the wiring for my license plate, not sure when I will get it. How should I do the wiring for a license plate light delete? Right now I have the brown going to the p-side continues.

Thanks,

You could ground the lights just like the '73. For the plate light you just need to connect to a brown wire on one side and a ground. Might be easier to do under one of the rear lights.
