There have been lots of threads on this.

the room behind the tail gate handle is NIL.

Just a thought so see if someone else wants to run with it is....

Install a Cam Lock above the tailgate handle. The arm of the lock will rotate DOWN into a slot cut into the handle, effectively making it impossible to pull the handle outwards & open the gate...

.....sound like a reasonable idea?

If not, then someone needs to make a handle assembly from aluminum & have it as a bold on replacement of the old handle.

You do it....I'll buy it!!!!!!

I like the idea of a replacement handle, maybe a cool Bronco script could be added for something different. I'm with Monkey, I'll buy one for sure!

Yeah, I mean someone needs to take a chunk of Aluminum & taper the back so that it sticks out lower on the bottom than on the top. Then stick the guts of our original stuff inside, have a SNAZZY bronco scripted handle & lock & you have INSTANT SALES!!!!!!

Who was it that was going to start working aluminum???? Was it RKM???? I can't remember!

I still say that if the Ranger has one we can adapt it to the Bronco? These things are on my list to work out too.

Yea it was me....Unfortunately I haven't the time to go and drop the stuff off to see if it can be made for us. I have finished the babies room, I have lamas sp? classes, a garage finally being built, and a job that has been busy. I'll see what I can do soon. a few days ago I checked out my lift for the garage ;D . I drove my EB to see it and the guy puts it on the lift. Then says you know what this is the first vehicle on this lift since I installed it a few days ago. That startled me a little.

MnkyBiz sounds like a good idea you have.

cbfomoco,

Those electronic ones will not work. The sliding bar lock doesn't effect our dial style ones.

I have sent some initial drawings to Nick's Trix & he also has some ideas.

He is taking a quick bit of time off, after restoring that rig & will be at this in no time.
