Perspective makes a huge difference in assessing level of difficulty. From below - that looks like a pretty straightforward set of steps. Only from the top can you see how steep it is and why they didn’t try to overpower it. Moab has some great obstacles.

Nice vid Mitch!

I sure felt for those guys struggling, Rocker Knocker is a tricky obstacle that requires most rigs to start where it looks wrong and feels wrong enough to need a fresh pair of BVD's but you walk right up. I have found with less than a 40" tire it does take a single basketball sized rock in that notch to not run the risk of grenading a front axle, even with the best d60 parts.

I do miss the large rock that a couple hit with their rear bumper being next to the notch, that rock is what gave that obstical its name. Love Pritchett Canyon:cool:, did it the first time 22 years ago.

For any of you that are looking for a great vacation .. Wife & I drove through the PAVED SIDE of Moab & it was the best any of the 4 of us had seen before . Basicly the arches NP ..
