TBP Premium Seats

I am considering the Tom's Bronco Parts premium seats front and rear. I read several threads tonight here on classic, but still undecided.

Anyone have the new premium seats?

Do you like them?

Why?

Why not?

What about entry on the passenger side for someone trying to get to the back seat?

In the rear seat area do you miss the arm rests?

Please feel free to PM me if you prefer. I am not looking to bash a vender. I am looking for some good feedback to help me make an informed purchase.

Thanks in advance!

Jeff

I really like those seats and compared to what I need to do to my original seats, the price is good.

I have the premium seats. They are fine, but they are not going to hold up over time. They look great.

I'm not sure how but we've already scratched and put a slight tear in the driver seat while getting in and out.

The front seats also have completely different firmness...the driver seat is soft and squishy and the passenger seat is really firm. They're both comfortable, it's just a bit odd that they are so different.

Mechanically they are good and the tuck and tumble seat is really convenient. I think they are a good option, but I can't say how they will hold up over thousands of miles and entry/exit from the car.

I have them and like them. Not sure about the lack of arm rests in the back, but I haven't gotten any complaints from the kids!

I don't do any long trips, maybe 30-45 mins tops so far. So I can't comment on all day comfort, but they seem fine so far. I think they're supportive and I feel like the driver and passenger side are the same.

I took the covers off enough to install seat heaters on both front seats. Seem like the construction underneath was identical for both sides and used decent/modern foam type materials. We'll see if the driver's side softens up more, since I'm sure it's getting much more use than passenger side. No tears or rips or anything on mine so far.

I have them in Parchment and like them. Can't comment on durability but they look great. I haven't had any issues with tears or stains.

Looking at getting them soon. In parchment. Parchment are the only set of three that is not on sale. Hoping for a Black Friday sale.

I have TBP denim gray vinyl high back seats (not the premium ones) that in put in my ‘66 half cabin place of the bench seat. They were a perfect match to the fold and tumble seat I put in 2-3 years earlier. They have held up fine albeit I don’t use the Bronco as a daily driver.

I've been waiting on buying these as well. I have redone originals now. Can't decide on the color...wish they still had spice available. Also can't figure out how to sell it to the wife.

I’d go with safety.

I sold my original seats (fronts were recovered), rear was original and a homemade console for $800 yesterday. I just got off the phone with Tom's after ordering a set of their front Premium seats in parchment (on sale $695) after taxes and shipping it was about $860.

Two new interior upgrades. I bought the front Tom's Premium Seats and I also got molded vinyl flooring from Stock Interiors. I still need to do some fine trimming on the flooring, but happy with it so far. The front had carpet pad, the rear did not, so I picked up some carpet padding from Home Depot and put some down. Along with the sound deadening, the flooring and the pad, the ride is much more quiet. Seats are really nice. They sit lower than stock and the brackets lined up with stock holes. I've got that new car smell right now.

Any feedback on those that are 6 ft or taller with these seats and how your visibility is out of the front windshield? That is my biggest pet peeve...having to hunch over to see stop lights or clearly out the windshield. Thanks!

Along this same topic. Anyone have any solution for rear seat that can fit 3 passengers with belts. Got three kids. Currently have original seats.
