Test wiper motor function, which wires?

I got a stock wiper motor mounted up and plugged in on my '69. When I turn the key to ON and try the wiper switch I get nothing. I figure this is because I powder coated my dash and now do not have a ground? Kinda wondering what else wont work on the dash due to this. Anyway, I wanted to start eliminating possibilities and make sure that the motor works and whether the switch grounds through its body to the dash or if I have more than a ground problem.

So which wire is hot and ground on the wiper motor? What do I touch to what with powered test leads just to make sure the motor functions?

Thanks!

White and Blue are low and high speeds

Black is Park
Red is power for park

By grounding the motor and applying 12v to the white or blue it should make the motor turn...

I'm trying to decipher the diagram in the Chilton's '66-'77 Bronco manual right now so I can get new wires to a 2 speed FJ40 wiper motor. All the wires are blue from Toyota. Ford has red paired with blue and white paired with black in the two plugs that run to the wiper switch. White looks like low speed, blue is high speed, park is red, and black is ground to the best of my knowledge. The '77 Ford truck shop manual has a step by step test for all three circuits.

Thanks for the help guys, and the diagram. Wiring is by far my weakest point when it comes to vehicles. This should definitely allow me to test a few things. I think I may check out the '77 truck manual as well!

Am I reading the above diagram correctly that the wire in from the fuse box to provide power to the wiper and the park wire are spliced together??? Also which part of the switch do I use to attach the ground wire? ..... I am not using OEM wiring but using an EZ Wiring install
