I plan to cut the bolt down once I have it all settled in and use one of those lock nuts (not the nylock). And Hey Jesse, the brake lines worked out great, got the new front pieces for the big bronco and the extended drops for the early coming off the frame, worked perfect.

What are you going to do for a bumpstop by the riser?

Bumpstops?:-X :-X :-X :-X

The riser isnt going to hit anything unless something else breaks, if you are asking about where are my bumpstops, well it didnt have any before, not even sure where they are on the 78 Bronco front ends but I will fab something up after I do some cycling through to see where my points of interest are. The front end just had swaybars but no bumpstops I believe, or they were mounted on the frame I guess.

Hey Shawn, can you identify this part...or should I say part of a part?

Shocks are on! Stopped by Cage this afternoon and got some shocks, been cycling it though as best I can without a forklift (who'd a thunk I would need a forklift?) to be sure the shocks are going to work, looks like they should.

I'm sorry I'm having a tuff time with it, not to clear on this computer. (use to mine, & I'm in California) It looks like sheet metal but pic is fuzzy. What is it? Is it the bottom of your shroud? can you fire the truck up now?

Here is a small update, took the seats out, doors off, what a mess!!! I swear there was a yard of mud in under the seats and in the floorboards. Well took a pressure washer to it, man how cool are spray in liners, they clean up great, floors look about like new. Took the doors off and cleaned up (for the most part) a set of inserts I picked up at the most recent meet and greet from Amac70 and painted em up to match, also cleaned up and painted the inner door posts, turned out real good I think, I love the look with the half cab and inserts (kinda like RajinCajin's which I love), of course it is only until I get my Crab cage and top from Rick (should be in the next couple weeks). I also put in a set of green stocker seats I got from Mark on the board too, thought they would go well with the green. Anyways, enjoy the pics, on the road soon!!!

Its a custom soft top that SaddleUp is making, it will be an extra 12" long to fit the rig. I love the look of the half cab on it but I am doing a full cage and a soft top. Here is a pic of BigJHoov's top, mine will be the same just longer...

Here I photochopped the top on mine.

I am also working on a full hard top too, its in my head at the moment but I know how I need to do it.

Looking good!! We still need to cut those fenders and install those flares. Did you get the shocks all worked out? How about a picture of that rear inboard shock hoop? See you soon, got back home a few hours ago.

I still have the old hardtop beside the house if you want to try to use it. May be able to cut a usable section from it to graft into another one to get enough length. As is though it really isn't much good as a top. I think it still has the rear window and perhaps the hardware for the liftgate.

Well everything is buttoned up in the front, track bar riser is welded in and everything is pretty close to final adjustments. Its on the road now, that 435 granny low is awesome! I am going to see if I can get over in the field next door on Saturday and flex it out some so I can see where I need to cut for my flares.

Last night Kyle and I finished installing my heater box with the chevy blower motor upgrade and a new cage. Now I've got some serious air flow coming out when I'm driving so hopefully we'll be nice and warm coming up Saturday. Progress is looking great btw, will you be ordering some Bestop 2 piece soft doors or will you and I try our hands at making your own? Can't wait for this weekend! ;D

Hey Hey, you are alive ;)
That reminds me I should install mine too, its sitting in my garage. I would like to make a set, at least half doors, then maybe work on the tops later but yeah I would like to make a set. Sunday is looking better and better weather-wise, might be a bit chilly in the morn up there but should be dry. I am going to try and rebuild my carb, its leaking a little, and reinstall my auxiliary tank so I have some extra fuel. Still havent gotten my hands on a trailer yet but I am still working on it. Hey I also flipped that 435 shifter around and it is a breeze going thru the gears. Going to try and get a little road time between now and Sunday.

Are you still running the stock Motorcraft 2 barrel? Wheres it leaking from? I'll be bringing up my hardtop for Shawn but I'll switch to my Bikini top once I drop it off for him. I'm thinking about trying to get my doors on to help with the weather situtation but I'd have to dedicate a good 3 hours to finish welding, sanding, and painting my doors before I could put them on. I'll figure something out.

Yup stocker, did me well last time out, never stalled once. It is leaking out of the front vertical plate (Carbs are totally foreign objects to me, and not the good kind of foreign object either). Dont sweat the doors, besides, its one less thing to ding on the trail and have to refix ;)

Josh I have a brand new rebuild for that carb sitting in the garage, I will try and get it to you as soon as possible (or if your in my hood swing by). They are not that hard to rebuild, so it wont take to long. Andy if your rig was a 66/67 I could lend you some trail doors.
