So one the issues I have had is really bad bump steer and darting under hard braking. Mainly due to my track being not quite parallel and about 10” shorter than my drag link

So with the help of friend at MarsFab we finally able to come up with a solution to lengthening the track bar with welding it to the knuckle in single shear.

We also outboard the frame mount to gain get the track bar to 41” so about an 1” off of the drag link.

Now it drives better, extremely stable comfortably cruises 70-80mph

I also went ahead and added a hydro ram to the steering, to help out in the rocks. I ended up adding a 1.5 cylinder. Should have done this years ago.

I had AGR increase the output of the pump. Then added a power steering cooler in front of the radiator.

Pretty stoked the system held like 3 quarts of fluid, to hopefully keep her cool.

Got set of James duff trail doors in help keep the wife and puppy happy. Overall really impressed with the over all build.

I really wanted the skins removable so in the summer it would be a little cooler in the cab.

Went with the dzus fittings

FYI the little transfer punch pins are worth their weight in gold. First time I have had all the holes line up the first time.

Figure I would dig this thread back up since a somethings have changed since I last posted. Put a few thousand miles on the truck all over the country this past year.

But my wife and I got the pleasure of being invited to participate in the 2022 24 hours of Uwharrie adventure race.
