• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

No way would I drop that kind of cash on an old rig without seeing and driving it!! It also depends on what you're after. Looks like it'd make a good mall cruiser & if that's what you're after then cool. For that kind of money though I'd either want it totally bone stock or have some nicer ammenities on it like power disc brakes & electronic ignition at the min if not EFI...

My $.02...

Thanks for the input

I know what your saying about driving it and looking at it in person. I have no intention of buying it without seeing it and driving it. I am willing to give the guy a deposit and then fly out to purchase the truck if I like it. I am looking for someone local who could just make sure I'm not wasting my money on a plane ticket. I am looking for a street truck, not stock, but not too modified something in the middle, like this silver one. I understand also about the disc brakes and electronic ignition, so if you think the price is high, whats it worth?

I had given very serious thought to this one before I saw the one on e-bay. This ones a little to stock for me, plus I don't like several things about it that would cost extra money to change.

Any feedback is welcome!

I'd probably put it in the $15K range just from pics and description. Keep in mind it's at a dealer too! Probably some serious room to haggle with those jokers... Not like THEY put the blood, sweat and cash into it. You've got some room to bargain with them from a DD standpoint as well with the brakes (prob 4 wheel drum non-power = sucks!). From a 4x4 standpoint, probably Dana-30 front end, stock open diffs w/ 3.50 gearing = not the greatest especially with bigger tires. In my mind they've handcuffed themselves to one individual who wants this rig EXACTLY in order to get that price. It's not a stocker cause it's been modified so a "purist" isn't gonna want it and it's not a wheeler either. If it were to be a real nice DD or cruizer it'd need upgrades like power disc brakes, electronic ignition and or possible EFI. Just some things to arm yourself and throw at them when bargaining for a price... Oh yeah, windsheild wipers and heater don't work! All the little things should be fully operational in my mind for anything built as a cruizer and over $10K...

Thanks for the input. I am only looking for an uncut, however I am not looking for a stocker, or a wheeler. If I were going to buy a stock truck I would ruin it by a purists standards with the modifications I want to make. You have a good point about the gear ratio, I should try to find out what it is. The disk brakes would definitely be a mod I would make, however I don't want power brakes. It should be a dana 44 though. All the info I can find says Dana 44 became standard in eary 1971. Am I wrong?
