Funny but accurate. The stock 205 c/v yoke would fit it I turned it down a little. Plus I would need a different seal. It was easier to get A/A to just sent me the proper yoke.start up the lathe??
Funny how that always seems to happen.Oh Roger, me thinks there will be some "while I'm at it" stuff to follow???
Thanks Ben. I have made a transfer case mount and I am currently looking at how to build a trans mount. I dont think I need both mounts but I may be able to build mounting point into them to bolt an aluminum plate belly pan to. Looks like I will have some driveshaft issues. Still looking at those options. I may give John a call at JB Fab to see what he has for a shifter. I like his products.. Eating a quick frozen pizza and heading back to the shop. Well its not frozen anymore, you know what I mean.Bax, my understanding is you do not want to have a mount for both the tranny and t-case.
As far as the T case shifter, maybe take a look at the JB Fab cable shifters then you can place the shifter anywhere. This is the route I am taking.
Well its installed, but it is not done. I got lots of stuff to work out. Gas line is in the way. Brake line is too. Looks like the rear drive shaft is too long. Speedometer cable needs to be replaced. I either need to build a mount for the transfer case or one for the transmission, or both. I have a sheet of T6 1/4'' aluminum plate. I think perhaps a belly pan would be cool. I have it clocked up as far as it will go. It's almost hitting the floorboards. Oh and I am not sure I like where the shifter is going to come thru the floor at either.
Yes its clocked up as far as I can get it and I am really happy with the fit. The shifter is going to need to be re worked and I am not sure it will work even after I finish messing with it. I will most likely end up with cable shifters but I have not given up hope yet . Hell The cable shifter is going to be tight too.Clocking looks good too. Almost flat! I don’t think you can get it totally flat without notching the frame.
