Thanks Guys. I got the 205 out but I have a little problem. The atlas has a drive flange on the rear output. It was supposed to be a C/V yoke. So I have to address that, but otherwise it's all good.

start up the lathe??
Funny but accurate. The stock 205 c/v yoke would fit it I turned it down a little. Plus I would need a different seal. It was easier to get A/A to just sent me the proper yoke.

Well its installed, but it is not done. I got lots of stuff to work out. Gas line is in the way. Brake line is too. Looks like the rear drive shaft is too long. Speedometer cable needs to be replaced. I either need to build a mount for the transfer case or one for the transmission, or both. I have a sheet of T6 1/4'' aluminum plate. I think perhaps a belly pan would be cool. I have it clocked up as far as it will go. It's almost hitting the floorboards. Oh and I am not sure I like where the shifter is going to come thru the floor at either.

Bax, my understanding is you do not want to have a mount for both the tranny and t-case.
As far as the T case shifter, maybe take a look at the JB Fab cable shifters then you can place the shifter anywhere. This is the route I am taking.

Thanks Ben. I have made a transfer case mount and I am currently looking at how to build a trans mount. I dont think I need both mounts but I may be able to build mounting point into them to bolt an aluminum plate belly pan to. Looks like I will have some driveshaft issues. Still looking at those options. I may give John a call at JB Fab to see what he has for a shifter. I like his products.. Eating a quick frozen pizza and heading back to the shop. Well its not frozen anymore, you know what I mean.

I am waiting on getting my bronco back from paint and then I will be square in the middle of the same pickle soon. I will be using the BC bronco cross member (tubular ZF style) as it came with the 4r70w I bought from a CB member, and it was working for him.
My understanding is that when mounting the trans and T-case either the t case mount or the aluminum tranny mount will give when off road? If I can squeeze it in, I am going to do the cable shifters myself.

Clocking looks good too. Almost flat! I don’t think you can get it totally flat without notching the frame.

Yes its clocked up as far as I can get it and I am really happy with the fit. The shifter is going to need to be re worked and I am not sure it will work even after I finish messing with it. I will most likely end up with cable shifters but I have not given up hope yet . Hell The cable shifter is going to be tight too.

I like both but I think I am particularly found of cable shifters in a bronco.

However, I do like the mechanics of a rod when you shift it. You know it’s in gear.

Good luck either way

Looking good Bax. Yes just do a trans mount or tcase mount, not both, the chassis will flex. 3 points of contact for the engine, turbans and tcase allows for it to flex without causing issues with the adapters and bell housing. Lots of options for shifters, can be hard picking what works for you.
