Tom's Bronco Rear Fold and Tumble Seat ?

I have Tom's Bronco seats in my 1976. The rear fold and tumble seat had a bracket inside break off for the headrests. For me to weld it back on I need to pull off the cover. The bottom of the seat cover has zippers but no actual zipper. Its open on both ends, but zipped closed. So I figure I can unzip it to access the backrest frame to weld the bracket back on however, I am trying to figure out how to zip it back up with no zipper. Anyone know what size zipper it uses or have a better way for me to access it?

following, cause that's friggen interesting. I have new Tom's seats sitting in their boxes and gonna have to break the fronts apart for my seat heaters so curious about how that might work.

But....how would it have a zipper and no zipper? Did they zip it, let the zipper come off and then sew it closed? It would need to either have a zipper on it to hold it closed or be closed another way (like sewn or clamped)..

I’m not sure about that specific seat, but maybe double check that the zippered end isn’t folded and tucked in with the zipper still attached. I’ve seen that before. It’d be a shame if they did what ba123 suggested/asked.

I pulled the tucked ends on all three zip up sections. The tails were about 4-6" on both the start side and end side. No zippers on any of it. The 2 zipped up sections above the hinge actually ran into the vinyl and closed on one end. It wasn't like they were cut even either. One side of the zipper is longer than the other. It looks like they were sewn on, assembled and zipped closed and just ran the zipper off it.

I’d call Tom’s Bronco and ask them if they know. If they do NOT know, find out who makes them for Tom ‘s and ask them. Seats look awfully good to do the “zipper rip” and have to repair. It’s a thought…

Following, I also have a set of these seats. Looks like someone slashed mine before I bought it. I was going to reach out to them at some point and see if they sold just the covers so I don't have to buy a whole set of seats.

I think these these are all the same as whoever makes them for Bestop, maybe they are rebadged Bestops? In fact, I have front and rears and bought them from Bestop, way cheaper on the seats and the shipping at the time.
