Just curious what other people have done to install this bracket. The instructions show the location on the frame having a keyhole for the tab that comes down off the bracket and a 5/16 threaded hole in the frame. I have 66 with no holes in the frame where the instructions show. Any idea what to do?

Thanks!

Tom's bracket fits in the same position as the OE Ford bracket that it attempts to replicate. My '68 had the same holes tho there was no combination valve on '68s, that had H-blocks. I would recommend drilling them to match the OE holes. The OE bracket has holes that work for the OE Kelsey-Hayes valve and most any after market combination valve. So does the common after market bracket. It allows replacement pre-bent brake lines to work.

Or, if you happen to have headers, put it wherever it makes sense to keep the valve a little farther out of harm's way from the heat.

If you're wanting to utilize the pre-bent hard lines from one of the kits, then just install the valve, hard lines and get it set up plumbing-wise, then attache the bracket and mark the holes wherever the bracket is going to sit in your particular application.
