Hey guys. I have a sweet deal on a 2002 Cherokee with a 4.7L HO engine and class IV towing package. I am wanting to pull my '75 from Dallas to Houston periodically. This is a very flat drive. Do you think this can be done?

does it weigh more than the bronco? If so it should be ok...Also, I had a problem towing my 67 when it was taller than the tow vehicle. Just a thought ;D

My dad and I flat towed my Bronco home 50 miles when I first bought it with my dads F150. All the F150 had was a straight six and a 5 speed. It towed it very well. Only thing that gave us problems was that it was missing one shock and the other three where toast. It deffinetly wasnt the safest thing in the world but we got her home.

My buddy used his 02 Cherokee to tow a 3/4 ton GMC from Cheyenne to Ft. Collins it did fine however it was 1200 foot drop in elevation and it's only around 40 miles. Just remember it's still a jeep. ;)

I pulled my Bronco with my 96 Cherokee, it only has the 4.0 in it. In fact i was planning to tow it from Salt Lake City to the Rubicon in july. Plan was to swap vehicles at the bottom of Donners Pass and have the Bronco pull the jeep to the top. Bronco has wouldve towed it better. It never happened though. But back to the original idea, with that motor you should be fine, my heep struggled but the Bronco and trailer weighed more than the heep.

I tow dollied my EB 520 miles with my '02 WJ. Mine is the standard 235hp version of the 4.7, so I would say you should have no problem.

Back when I had my CJ, I towed it on a dual axle trailer with no problems also.
