i have a 69 bronco with a three inch lift. i wish to lower to stock height. i have the drop down bracket welded over the original mounting point on the frame for the track bar. i also have a dropped pitman arm. will i need to drill a new hole location in the bracket back to the stock location to use with a stock pitman arm? the bronco is only driven on the street. the track bar is adjustable. i appreciate any advice.

Yes, that track bar will be hanging too low. You may already know the rule of thumb...if not you should try getting the *drag link and track bar to run parallel with each other.

For a further explanation, if you keep the track bar mount that low on a stock suspension, you will introduce more torque than your frame should be seeing. That will likely result in issues you don't want. It can also push your front axle and suspension out of alignment, causing transfer case/driveshaft/u-joint and radius arms/shock/bushing failures.

would it be best to drill the new location of the track bar mount to the chassis once the bronco has been lowered to the stock height.

If you want to go back to stock cut that one off and go with this one.
