Transmission Kickdown

I can't get the transmission kickdown to work. How can I adjust/fix this?

Adjust the linkage so the lever at the trans is fully engaged (against spring pressure) when the carb is at wide open throttle. Then you can make minor adjustments to have it engage sooner or later.
