I plan on repainting my Bronco and I think I want to try some preventative measures concerning the cowl and the rocker pannels. I have run accross this product for coating frames from the inside. Here is the site.

http://www.eastwood.com/internal-frame-coating-w-spray-nozzle.html

watch the video on the site.

My plan is to dig out the old sealer and hook up a small hose to my shop vac and suck what ever loose dust, rust flake or anything else I can. and then spray this stuf in and reseal. I am especially worried about hidden rust in the cowl channel. I have no problems now and at least try to help the situation.

What do you think or have you used this product.
Thank's Steve

You can also use your air compressor and blow alot of that stuff out.
Sounds like the Eastwood treats rust. The body men at work use a simliar setup for repairs on frame rails and rockers from 3M called cavity wax.

kent wash.
I used a material what was like a wax also. The gun had different tips and wands to reach into every possible nook. The limition is can you drill holes and hide the plugs? The rockers for example you can drill holes at both ends and plug, before you spray tape the drain holes up so it doesnt drip out while its drying.Inside doors lower seams, tailgate.Oh one other thing all this is done after PAINT! Diging out the seam sealer I found that a heat guy softens the sealer and the pick grabs onto it.

I get Por -15 to flow thru the seams & cracks after cleaning, then thin down interior under coating ( amber stuff) with lacquer thinner let that flow in & out of cracks & crevices, then com back with a not so thin coating of the interior under coating, takes a few days to get it all applied.
