I'm trying to remove the front drums from my '66 bronco and can't seem to get past the hub lock...

Every kit I've seen where you buy new drums does not include the hub in the center. Does the drum simply slide pass this or is it all one assembly?

I've also watched a video on how to remove it but that was on a '67 and the parts don't look quite the same... Also could these little rings around the threads be what's holding it on?

Any help? Thanks.

You have to get all the hub parts out first before you can get to the nuts that hold your drums on. Looks like Kroil oil soaking and trying to get the hubs to slide out off the ends of the axles.

First I don't see any evidence of PB blaster:) Need to soak that baby up, might need to use a little heat and malletize it lose.

Do above and also take a small angled pick, snaking down between the hub and the hub lock, get on the back side of the outer hub lock, you can then apply a little force from the back side and see if you can work it off.
