I Am Restoring my Grandpas old 68 Full Size Bronco and the only trouble I'm having is the starter REFUSES to come out. I Figure the starter is no good because the key will not turn and i Just replaced the battery after checkin ALL connections running to and from the starter...but back on topic I can't get it out . Anyone know the step by step?

Yep, whack it a few times if it doesn't want to cooperate. I agree with wildbill, you don't want that think leaving a dent in your forehead.

Actually...

Its actually The ignition switch excuse me for not elaborating but I have removed the negative and positive wires from behind the dash and I figured you'd simply twist it and it would loosen but this truck has been sitting for a good...Hmm two years? Could rust play any part in it? Also would the face place of the switch have anything to do with it?
