Should be called Truck Trashing USA.
Wide variety of rigs, the farther you go in the demolition derby the more trashed the rigs get.
A little too showmanship for me ,but I watch for the rigs.

It's been on for a few weeks now,I watched every episode, pretty cool but the only Ford to do something was a girl driving a exploder, she made it to the last round but got stuck in the mud pit. It's mostly heeps, prolly 75% of the rigs. %)

Watched one out of curiosity. Highly rigged reality show. Staged drama. cliffhanger commercial breaks. Generally all the stuff that makes American TV total crap.

A scheduled garage repair time halfway through the show, Reality has strayed too far from real. Just watch Dirt Everyday. Much better. You get to see stuff break because it was pushed too hard, and you know what was put into it before it broke.

Yeah, total crap. X2 on Dirt Every Day. Glen Plake should stick to skiing. Might be ok if it didn't have the "coaches" or whatever they call them.

The whole Dirt Every Day build something "stupid" and have it spectacularly fail in short order is getting old though. Still like the show though-

Truck Night has to be one of the dumbest shows on TV.

But they actually build something, that (mostly) works, and you get to see it used. It's not a restoration show, nor a custom fab high end car build show. It's making something to be used out of usually pretty junky stuff, and not worried about the paint job on the finished product.

Truck Night is one of those things I see that makes me say, "This is why all those Yankees think we are so stupid here in the south"

Here now. I'm what you'd call a yankee (live in minnesota). Stupid is stupid north south east or west. Not limited to a region.

I like watching it. I like to see how the rigs hold up. I agree with the "staged " comment.
I've always wanted to see a show where brand new trucks go head to head. No mods, just straight off the showroom floor.
