Tuffy glovebox

Can the tuffy glovebox be installed without removing the roll cage?

I have installed them without removing. I think I took off door to make it easier during install and lightly installed tape to protect dash paint.

Same here. Installed with cage in place.

Depends on the cage.
And if the dash is stock or not.
But mostly depends on the cage. As the others indicated though, probably 90% of the cages you see in Broncos will make it at the very least, somewhat difficult. And at least 75% of those will make it impossible.

Thanks guys. I'm still getting everything thing together to do a rewire, and I figure if the fuses are going to be in the glovebox it would be a good idea to be able to get my hand in there if I need to.

Mine must be in the 75% category Paul mentioned. The cage is custom and tight to the dash. Good luck with getting yours to fit. Looking at my 68 which has an old school Smitty Built, there is more room to work with. You may be in luck.

I would check on the face plates, I thought it unscrewed and had to do that to actual fit.
