Used an old amp I had kicking around and got the RCA cable to Ipod and it works great. Little underpowered but someday I'll get a better amp. If you really want the FM you can get a cheep MP3 player with bulit in FM tuner.

My tunes are my 37" siped boggers humming down the road, while my bass (my 302) rumbles the entire vehicle. I love tunes with the best of you, infact, I almost always have something on. However, nothing clears my head better than the harmony of the boggers and 302. Plus I hate loud music on the trails because it clouds the peacefulness. Well, moreso than the screaming engines do.

2200 RPM has 4 puleses per revolution. 8800 pulses per minute. Well 9000 divides into 60 nicely, that would be about 150 Hz of primary exhaust puleses.

Tune free here - I'm really suprised at how many need a radio.
For longer hauls though , I understand and would do the tunes too , but for bummin' around town or nice cruise through the country , wouldn't use it much.

I've already got a marine head unit and a set of door speakers but I'm planning on adding this to it http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=828229

should work out good in my bronco and it's not much more to upgrade to a 4 channel amp, might not have the absolute best sound but my bronco makes enough noise that it won't matter anyway.
