For all of that trouble you are better off with the 4bt cummins, people here in England prefer the older diesel from the ford transit van made in the 90s

Cept 4BT's seem top be 3 grand these days and I thought possibly that package might be smaller and easier to fit??

have you tried looking into volvo marine engines? ive never known of anyone using them, but i do know they are higher hp than 4bt, but less torque. i think they have a much higher rated rpm which would make them much more driveable than a 4bt in my opinion.

Never heard anything about them, have any details?? Motor designation, years, specs???
