No facebook for me either, from what I understand that may be a good thing...
Anybody recognize this one? https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/d/1973-ford-bronco-4x4-race/6695512416.html
My guess is that it raced a few local races then left for dead.Anybody recognize this one? https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/d/1973-ford-bronco-4x4-race/6695512416.html
Been on craigslist for several months now. I don't think any of us have really been able to figure out its history.

Sort of an odd statement in the ad "This was a very prominent truck in the 1980's"

The gentlman that owns the photo says it is from the 1969 Mexican 1000 race. I do not doubt that, because I know he did race it and has given me other photos from that race. However, he mentions that the guy in red is Parnelli Jones. Can anyone confirm this? He also says it is Big Oly, which I know he is mistaken on. My guess is an early Stroppe built Bronco. Nice aluminum work around the engine compartment, though!
bump for the newbies
Enjoyed looking back through this thread. Thanks Nick! I'm not a newbie;D
A few pictures of Rattler in his racing days.. not the same caliber as most of the Broncos in this thread, but it was still a race Bronco...![]()
