My question is what is the better lifts for the 3.5" on a stock ride?

Do you have to watch how much flex it has to keep from tearing up rubber/sheetmetal?

I've consider'd goin with a cage 3.5" lift, we plan on doing the easy/moderate trails, once we get her's on the road.

Dejavu all over again. I think i just posted about this, I bought this bronco from an unknown po after its frame off a few months ago to hold me over while i work on my 74 and 78, last week my wife and I took it to bonco daze in borrego springs it has 5 inch coils in front 5 inch blocks soon to be replaced in the rear the tires are 33x12.50x15r with about 4 inches of back spacing. I fully compressed this truck and even tried to max it out to see what it can do before I started to work on it with this set up it barely rubbed. If you want similar results but dont want to go 5 inches then a 3.5 kit from anyone of the major suppliers will work great with a 2 inch body lift. I would not however go any more than a 2 inch body lift.

I know this is the uncut and lifted thread, but does anyone have pics of uncut and no lift w/ 31x10.50 on stock wheels? I've heard this will work, but have never seen it. Sorry for hijacking this thread.

Anyone know the lift, tire combo on this beautiful Bronco? Even an estimate would be great. I'm thinking 2 1/2" suspension lift with around 30" tires.

33's uncut

75 Denver edition 3.5" lift with 33x9.50's, and 75 Baja 3.5"lift 35x12.50's. You can get a perspective between the two tires sizes.

Well I'm in the same catagory. Just bought an uncut '75 and want to keep her that way.
How wide are the wheels? Should we stick to 15"x8" wheels? Would 10" wide wheels be too wide?

I want to do a 3.5" suspension lift. Not sure on the body lift if any.

Keep em coming.

I've got a 75 Sport I plan to keep uncut. I'm planning on 285/70-17 (33X11.5) with 17X8 rims with 4.5 BS. I'll have a 1" body lift and either a 2.5 or 3.5 SL. One all components are together then I'll modify the rear quarters much like Bax did for proper tire quarter clearance. These phots really help in the selection of SL / BL and tiresize.

Keep em coming.

That last picture would make a great calender pic, even better for the month of July! Nice color too!
