US Shift Quick 6 table adjustments on controller Gen 2

I can't get the Controller to save the settings I'm asking dialing in on it!

Below is a pic of the instructions for shift firmness between all 6 gears. I followed it to the letter at least a 1/2 dozen times and the settings always go back to "default".

Is there some "save" procedure I'm supposed to know off the top of my head? I usually do all this tuning on my computer and load the program but this time I thought I'd use the much promoted "remote tuning" right on the controller with zero results so far.

I can get TPS settings and others to save but not these...
