have a couple of parts i was wondering the value of to price to sell. need to make some room.
- 3 speed trans with bell housing. probably not many wanting a 3 speed anymore but maybe the bell housing worth something for a swap.
- 302 motor - has eldelbrock intake, off road carb, 3g alt, ps pump, new flywheel, new timing chain, roller rocker, mallory distributor, but needs head gaskets. maybe worth more in parts than as a whole
- fronts seats with brackets - fair and could work fine but some cracks so would likely need re skinned. blue explorer color

The 3-speed is good for someone keeping an original alive and needs one. Think about $50 if they come and pick it up.
The engine is best parting out the aftermarket stuff and letting the engine go as a core. If it has been rebuilt before, very little value. If never rebuilt, $100 builder core.
The aftermarket stuff, I would expect about half of the best price you can find on them new.
No idea on the seats.

3speed $0
Does the motor have the smog parts? Way back 20 years ago a guy gave me $300
For a stock 302 mostly for the smog equipment.
Not sure if stock seats are worth much unless in real good shape.

i was hoping to find a cheap bronco that needs these parts for a quick flip but not likely to happen
broncograveyard wants 150 for used bell housing and 450 for new seat frame. but imagine no one buys those since better seat options cheaper.
these parts are big and not valuable enough to be worth the space in garage, probably time to sell.

I sell a lot of parts but they ae usually cheap so they dont sit. 3 speed like mentioned has value to somone doing a restoration but not much. I have at least 5 of them sitting with no takers. When I do sell they bring about 50. Like you said, the V8 bellhousing is worth that much. Seats I would sell for 200-300 and have sold several at that price. With all of the parts on the engine, I would sell it all for about 300. Location makes a big difference of course. Good luck

It depends. Probably not that much value. is the engine already bored over? It's not one of the desirable engines, most people would skip it for something newer. Runs, on the garage floor, doesn't say much. Runs, in a car that you can drive around, that is the best money as you can realy know how it runs. Idling on the garage floor doesn't say much about it. Buyers my balk at an engine repair that hasn't been proven beyond idling on the driveway. By the time you buy the gasket set, you are spending as much money as the value goes up.

Have you looked around the local market and see what stuff is selling for? Not listed, anyone can list something for way too much money and never sell it. But actually selling for.
If a complete stranger was selling your stuff, what would you buy it for? A mystery engine on the ground, says it was pulled because of a bad head gasket, put one on. Proven repair? It's still a gamble/core engine to the buyer. You may know it is good, how is the buyer to know?

Comes down to what buyer can you find (or find you)? What are the looking for, how much are they willing to spend. What would make them want to buy your stuff over another engine? If I were looking at the engine, I would price what a used intake and carb is worth. That would be my value. If the engine was good, I got a deal. If the engine was bad, at least I got some good stuff and don't feel that burned.
